It was our first time at the beach this summer. Which is easy to say, since it was after June 21. We were excited to take pictures and blow bubbles and find some shells. Come check out Canon Beach with us. This was actually my first time there.

We arrived just as the peak of the day's heat was about to lift. It had reached 100 degrees Fahrenheit in the car, on the way over. We paused in relief as the water cooled the air on the beach. We hiked down towards the water to see what all the fun was about.

Naturally I had to write "Steemit" in the sand, for logo use. I hope you all are enjoying the pictures I posted previously, for marketing purposes. If not, you can find them again, here.

It felt good just to be on the beach, in the sand. Time to take my sandals off and get cozy.

It felt amazing just to sit in the sand. I was taking pictures of the texture of the sand. And relaxing. It felt so amazing just to be. I was working my way up to getting in the water. The water was cold, but it was hot out - hotter than it had been all year.

I also had to take some pictures of my feet...because it's awesome. ;-)

And just look what we found! Shells had started washing ashore with the evening tide...

The rocks ended with an impassable crush. So we turned back. Combing along, we decided to look back over the driftwood that had washed up on the side.

And we did!!! :-)

And we lived happily ever after...And the beach bugs only bit us a couple times...and we only got a little sunburned, not even a lot! :-)
