While the world is in lock down , quarantine and isolation it seems every country seems to have different ideas about this scenario with Covid-19 depending how bad the country is getting hit with this Covid-19 well in Thailand we seem to be a little better of then most other countries weather it might be the heat or humidity as i have heard the virus doesn't survive at temperatures above 27 C maybe that's why there are fewer cases here compared to other countries but then we are not sure what to believe only that we need to be sensible about the situation.
It doesn't mean that people here are not taking precautions they are still wearing there mask and keeping there distance well 99% are because you don't believe everything you read or hear especially from the media so , i put my mask on and took to the streets of Bangkok.
I decide to walk along the Choa Phraya River where i would have less contact with people , a sad thing to say but it is what it is at the moment and looking at this river was the calmest and quietus i have ever seen in all of my 20 years of my travels to Thailand , no taxi boats , no tourist boats or party boats on the river today and not for a while i assume.
This is today Sunday and people are normally getting out shopping or going for a family dinner some where and normally at this time of the day this road to the city is bumper to bumper but not today only a few cars and motor bikes to be seen and a handful of fisherman catching there evening dinner.
These dinner cruise boats are normally cruising the Chao Phraya river entertaining the foreign tourists with exquisite banquets for the moment they will just remain parked here till who knows when.
Well one thing is for sure i can enjoy my walks without crowds of people or breathing in excessive carbon monoxide and the sunsets are so much more clean to look at :)
On my walk towards the bridge i needed to cut in through some of the suburban areas and came across some rather pretty neat graffiti , i love graffiti art work when it's done in more of a artistic professional way like these pieces of art.
On my way back home this was about 8 pm evening i passed through the Asiatique Riverfront Mall which is not far from were i live i just wanted to see what this place was looking like , well yes as i was thinking it was a total ghost mall here normally it is packed with tourist having dinner at the many restaurants and people shopping crazy at the thousand odd stores they have here at this riverfront mall , just so sad to see the economy slipping away from under us , it's going to be a hard road ahead for many people once this is over.
