Do you know green washing? That's what it's called when companies market their products "green and organic" when the ingredients are not. This is exactly what Maui does with its hair care products, which are now available at dm.
Maui offers vegan hair care products without silicones, sulphates and parabens. But that's only half the truth - because since consumers no longer want silicone in their products, polyquaternium is used - a cheap silicone substitute. Two of these are directly contained here. It also contains diazolidinyl urea, an allergenic formaldehyde cleaver and PEGs.
That is not particularly clean or non-irritant. I am extremely annoyed that the products are sold at a particularly high price because of their supposedly high-quality, clean content. A bottle costs 8,95 Euro (375 ml), which I would spend, if the ingredients are good. But this way I can buy a much cheaper product with silicones and probably have the same result.
It's a pity - I liked the idea behind it and the scent, but that's all. What do you think it?

Eine Flasche kostest 8,95 Euro (375 ml), was ich ausgeben würde, wenn denn der Inhalt stimmt. Aber so kann ich mir ein wesentlich günstigeres Produkt mit Silikonen kaufen und habe vermutlich das selbe Ergebnis.
Sehr schade - ich mochte die Idee dahinter und auch den Duft sehr gern, aber das war's auch schon. Wie seht ihr das?
