Before i go to bed, a small review of one of the other items i bought that i got in my mailbox today: the Becca Highlighter Glow on the Go
As some of you may know, one of my 3 jobs is being a makeup-artist as well. It’s what i do least of the time, but it’s still something i love to do!
And ordering and testing new products for my job is always fun!
Some of you may or may not know highlighters and what they’re all about... a while back they were all over the place and hightlighting and contouring we’re the thing you should do, all trying to be Kardashian look-a-likes... well thank god that trend is a bit over... Dewy and natural is more the way to go now!
Though a good highlighter should still be in everyone’s kit i think.
You can find highlighters in liquid form, powder or sticks. You use them on certain parts of your face or body where you want the light to reflect, so it enhances your features.
The trick is to put the highlighter on the correct spot, otherwise it may have the opposite effect.
A highlighter contains small particles that reflect the light and give you a nice and healthy glow.
So it enhances your features, makes you look slimmer if you want.
One of the brands i love most for highlighters is Becca. I bought this set, which is a small powder and a small liquid highlighter. They do go a long way because you only need a small amount...
I used a bit just above my cheeckbone, which you can see in the 1st picture that it catches the light in just the correct spot!
But remember, less is more is key here 😀
You can use is just above your lip, under the outter part of your brow, on the tip of your nose... even on your collarbone on your body...
