Mudra is one of many self healing methods, which has been applied for thousands of years now. It started in India, where people do meditation in daily basis -as well as Mudra. Back then, Mudra was a very common habit to promote health. Not only be healthy, doing Mudra can also make you pretty!
Jala (or Varuna) means water in Sanskrit. Of all five elements in the body (Fire, Space, Air, Earth, and Water), water occupies the largest part -about 70-80%. The liquid keeps internal organs do their work perfectly, and enhances the beauty of the skin as well. So, doing Jala Mudra can be an advantage to stay healthy and pretty.
Jala Mudra reduces the dryness and overcomes many skin diseases. It also improves the skin's luster and softness, helps regenerating the cells, so the skin will be naturally glowing and wrinkle free, yeay! Apply this by slightly touching the tip of pinky finger with the tip of the thumb. It is always better to do this in crossed-legs sitting position, with the two hands on the each leg. A five-minute each morning, noon, and night before sleep will be enough, or just do as your comfort.
