Good morning Hivers and BeerLovers. As it is snowing here we had to go to do some small shopping in Ravensburg. On the way back I remember that we did run out of beer at home so stop in Wilhemsdorf was necessary. There I collected a box of Allgauer Buble Bier and my eye slipped on the can of Faxe beer witch has a splendid painted can. When I was young I did collect beer cans. I had a wall in my room full with beer cans. In those times before was very difficult for me to get cans from west. We did with my friends go to motorway to please truck drivers to give us some. One more possibility was when was MotoGP. That was the time when motorbikes drivers from west were allowed to come through the Iron curtain. Then we could as a kids go secretly through the fence to the camping side to watch those beutifull motorbikes and please those bike drivers if they have some cans for our collections. The Faxe one was one of most valuable. If you have a look at the pictures you can see why so. The design of those is just incredible.
Here is the pic of Allgauer beer. When we go for a walk, specialy to Segelclub we take a beer every time with!!!
