For the past month I have been going to the del mar fair with my girlfriend and some friends.
We went four times!!!!
This was the first time we had gone to the fair together. We grabbed a couple beers to walk around but were limited to drink only zones as they don't let you wander around the park with the beer.
So we just rotated the times and places we went!
Then we found more beer
But...
That was only the first time we went!
We went a second time and took no photos, as we were too focused on winning toys. However on the third time we showed up for the Del Mar craft beer festival!
It was pretty expensive! For $130 the two of us got in, but then were handed tiny little 1 oz samplers. Look at how small they were! The fill line was at the bottom!
So for about 3.5 hours, or until we got hungry we ran to as many of the taps and tried to get as many samples as possible. This didn't end well, as we mixed the hell out of everything but it was a good experience...ish! For that price, there should have been free snacks involved or something. Or hell and exclusive tshirt.
Anyways so we left, and came back the next weekend because we forgot to go on the Ferris wheel
So we hung around, had some deep fried oreos and went home.
Until the final fair weekend came around and we still had prepaid rides and games sheets to use up!
So we did what every responsible adult does. We grabbed more beer and then took to the games! But not before checking out the groovy coverband playing. I forgot to write their name down... Ill have to remember to next time.
