I liked Ninkasi Oktoberfest. I liked Ninkasi Dry Skies. I like many a stout and oatmeal stout. Yet somehow I can't bring myself to endorse this brew, and I can't pinpoint why. That bugs me. It's plenty stout at 7% ABV. The malt is good. It might be the 50 IBU from the hops. Something just isn't right, though, and I can't say what. Your mileage may vary, of course, but these are my thoughts for whatever they may be worth.
That's what you get for reading an amateurish beer review from someone who has been drinking beer, I guess.
