I've been working with a small group of investors on a new brewery project that is opening next month in central Virginia. It would be a great place to meet some Steemit beer fans.
We are located in Farmville, VA about halfway between Richmond and Lynchburg. It is roughly an hour south of Charlottesville, too. The location is really fantastic. It is an old warehouse that used to be next to a train line that ran through town, but now the train line has been converted into High Bridge Trail state park. The trail is going to be right at the edge of our beer garden and will have bike racks and even a place to hitch your horse. I'm not certain, but we might be the first horse-friendly drinking establishment in Virginia.
We have a brand-new 7 BBL brewing system that was just installed and a top-notch brewer who has worked for several well known craft breweries. The taproom is right inside the brewery itself so your bar stool will be just steps away from the whole production process. Our intention is to serve the very freshest ales and lagers that go from kettle to glass with the maximum love and care. There will be room for eight taps, all supplied straight from 7 BBL serving tanks.
Food service will be available from one of several mobile catering services that will be on rotation in the beer garden. Live music, sporting events on TV, pub games, and a bocce court will all be available, too.
It would be a great, central location for beer-loving Virginia Steemians to meet up. What do you think?
