Random questions is my own challenge where I answer the question from the webpage https://www.conversationstarters.com/generator.php
What is your favorite drink?
Yes. And the answer is, of course, BEER!
I like all kind of beers in every ocasion. It's a shame it's an alcohol beverage and you can't drink to many of them beacuse you'll get drunk and that's not socialy acceptable.
How the beer is made?
Well, the beer is made by extracting sugars and flavour from malted barley, adding hops for a bit of spice and fermenting this liquid with the help of our yeast to create alcohol.
It is made in 10 steps:
1. Milling
Milling is where the malted barley is gently cracked to release the starches, proteins, and seedy goodness.
2. Masihng
Malt is mixed with hot water in a large vat.
3. Lautering
The mas ispassing through a natural filter created by the grain husks. The resulting mixture, rich in sugars, is called the wort.
4. Boiling
Well, it's obvius. The wort is boiled. Here you can add some spice!
5. Whirlpool
After the boiling this is where you filter out any leftover materials from the barley and hops.
6. Cooling
The hot wort is run over pipes and plates filled with cold water – making the water hot, and the wort cold.
7. Fermentation
This is where the magic is. The yeast is added and the alcohol is made. It also creates carbon dioxide. That's when the sparkles are made.
8. Conditioning
This is where the taste is made. Just let it stand there for a while.
9. Filtering
Removing the remaining unwanted particles.
10. Packaging
In other words, put it in the bottle.
And now let me tell you how to properly drink beer.
Many of us like to drink beer out of the bottle. Let me tell you something, that's wrong.
Also, when we drink beer out of a glass, we pour the beer in so that no foam is made. That is also wrong.
Beer is carbonated and we needto release that carbonation into a glass or otherwise it will release into your stomach. That's why we burp, fart and have troubles in our bowels whilw drinking beer.
And the explanation is in this video:
And the beer is the ideal drink for bars, because it gives you the best price and amount ratio.
Here in Croatia, when you sit at the bar this is what you can order:
- coffe with milk - 10-12 kuna
- juice 0,20 or 0,25 - 14-16, even 18 kuna
- beer 0,5 - 15-20 kuna
- short drink from votka to whiskey - 10-25 kuna
So there really is the most profitable to drink beer in the bars.
You can use this as an excuse why are you always drinking beer in bars
And if you really like the taste of beer, than it is the perfect drink. And remember less is more. Nobody needs to drink 10 beers. One or two is enough. You're not an alcoholic!
