History:
Mountain Goat Beer is based in Richmond, Melbourne and was established in 1997. Its first brew was the Hightail Ale released in October 1997. Due to growth and demand, the brewery moved to a much larger premises in 2004 to cope with the demand and expansion of the brewery and its offerings.

Drinkers Review:
This beer pours a copper hue with a rather rocky head and lacing everywhere. It has a floral hop smell the smell and a touch of toffee malts nothing over the top but not unlikeable. You can taste that it is an amber ale. It is malty but not in an over the top way. You could easily drink some of these with friends and turn it into a mighty session. Your craft beer mates might think it was a bit boring & your generic beer mates might think it was a bit exotic but chances are everyone would drink a few of them and you would be the beer expert and champion to all! Get a few and try it out.
