Drinkers Review:
XXXX Gold is a mid-strength beer with a clear golden body and a white head that fizzles to nothing. This beer is the weak little brother of XXXX Bitter. It is a beer that allows red blooded Aussies to consume 2 cans in the first hour, and 1 every hour after that and still be able to drive home without the risk of losing your licence and having your car crushed under the draconian, nanny state eye. When the other options are VB, Toohey's New and XXXX Bitter then this would be the beer of choice, aside from that there is little reason to touch this with a barge pole. It's actually pretty ordinary, but hey, any beer on a hot summers day is better than none.
XXXX also sponsors the best State of Origin team in the world!
