Well, you know what that means.... it's time to talk about beer. Probably one of my favorite subjects.
Perhaps this blog will inspire you to write your own beery story.
Welp it's Pilsner Time
Now look here, I don't normally do pilsners. IPAs are my preferred, then i'll do a Porter or maybe an amber ale. I'm cool with a bock or lager if they are around. But i'll rarely grab a pilsner.
I'm not sure why other than the fact that alot of American domestics are either pilsners or light pilsners and I usually find them totally devoid of taste.
So i'l call this one: Budweiser with Flavor
It's still definitely a pilsner but it has a 5% ABV and actually tastes like beer instead of hop water.
Full disclosure - these are for sale by me for $2.99 USD for a four pack of 16oz. cans. Plus I like the grapefruit beer and the hard coffee from Burgkopf so I figured i'd give it a shot.
They are drinkable.
Not bad for a pilsner.
I tried the "Like Budweiser but with Flavor" line on my wife. She said "that's not really high praise." To which I said "Hey it's a pilsner; what do you want me to do?"
She took a sip and said "Hmm, that's not bad."
