Hofbrau Original.
I found two German Beers in the bottle store, here in South Africa. I was quite happy about it. Both were Hofbrau Beers, one was an original and the other a Weisse.
Today, I tested the Original. The Beer came in a decent size, 500ml bottle, and has 5.1% alcohol.
The Beer poured very clear, with a huge white head on top. No haziness in this one!!
Although the beer tastes light and is very drinkable, it is a boring beer, yawn, yawn, yawn!! I guess when one is used to the hoppy taste of craft beer, the commercial beers just do it any more!!
I now remembered again, why I only drink craft beers these days!!
