Mexican Food and South-African Beer
Over the weekend, my lovely wife and I decided to have some dinner at our local Mexican restaurant. We wanted to go for some time and never got around to visit this place. We were actually on our way to another restaurant, when we drove past Jo Mexico (our local Mexican restaurant) and there and then made a U-turn and and stopped at Jo Mexico
In anticipation of the hot food, I immediately decided to have a nice cold beer to prepare my mouth for the heat to come!! I decided on the Zwakala Weiss Below you can see the label, this beer is brewed in the Limpopo Province of South Africa. Below you can see the front of the bottle.
Below you can see that this beer has 5% alcohol and comes in a 340 ml bottle. They say we don't have to escape to the mountains to feel refreshed, we just have to drink this beer!!
I took their advice and immediately poured the beer into the glass, resulting in a nice white head on-top of the beautiful golden liquid!!
I slowly sipped on this nice beer and magically felt refreshed - Nice!! The beer went down very nicely!!
Now that I was ready, I ordered my nice Mexican food!! I ordered a chickichanga, it came in a tin plate as can be seen below.
Below is a close up for the food, this was real tasty, but not to hot!!
After the food, I ordered a Wild Honey Blonde beer, the name was wild, but the taste was average, actually, below average, will never order another one again.
Below you can see the sorry excuse of a head!! No good!!
Below you can see my wife enjoying a Margarita!!
I loved the restaurant, the food was great, and my company even better!! The Zwakala Weiss was also good, all in all, we had a great evening out
I took these photos with my iPhone, in Pretoria in the Gauteng Province of South Africa.
I hope you enjoyed the photos as much as I did taking it.
