BeerSaturday
HopCity has produced great beers for a number of years now. Barking Squirrel has been a favorite of mine for a while, it's probably the best hoppy hipster beer I've had. The 8th Sin Black Lager is another great choice, a black beer with a hint of coffee taste, similar to a Guinness makes it an option for people who generally don't like your average beer.
Pictured above is an image of their brewery from the website. You can see it's a fairly serious facility located in a suburb of Toronto. I've always been a fan of supporting domestic beers, we have excellent water in Canada so why would I pay extra to import beer. Beer is mostly water, so having pure, clean water is definitely the most important thing for making great beer.
Another Fallen Soldier
The 8th Sin Black Lager is a gold winner for world beer awards. There are bittersweet coffee-chocolate notes. It's a blend of 8 malts so the flavour is truly unique.
