If you ever happen to visit Ukraine, make a visit to Sofia park. It was built by Count Stanisław Szczęsny Potocki as a gift to his Greek wife Sofia (Zofia Potocka). Sofia Park is a arboretum (type of botanical garden) and
is considered to be one of Seven Wonders of Ukraine. It also houses scientific-researching institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine who conduct experiments on plants - so there's something new to discover every time.
Park is very packed with discoveries like statues of Greek gods, small hidden waterfalls, passages, caves, fountains and wide variety of plants gathered from all around Europe. You can easily spend whole day exploring this park and still doesn't get enough. Be aware of buying tseburek! I got a big laugh by locals when they saw me buying it, supposedly it was made of stray dogs and rats :D
