Part of my street-style photoshoot with Melanie.
I always liked reflections - windows, mirrors, any glossy surface - they just look great in photos. This one was taken through a shop window in Shoreditch, London. As a photographer I often have to deal with permissions - if I want to shoot at a hotel or a big restaurant it can take more than a week to get a permission to shoot (some businesses don't allow professional photography on their premisses at all). For this shoot I just walked into a small store and asked for permission on the spot - small businesses are so much easier to deal with and you can find great locations for your photos - you just need to be willing to talk to people. For an anti-social punk like me it's a bit difficult but it's totally worth it! :D
