Currently, the "Kolyma" is one of the key motorways in the Far East of Russia. It connects Yakutia and the Magadan region, is the only road the core of the Eastern part of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Western and Central parts of Magadan oblast, providing access to the Pacific coast.
