I found that a key aspect to travelling long term and moving around a country throughout that time means that what you pack and more importantly how much you pack is essential. This is due to the simply fact that whatever you pack is what you have to carry and lag around place to place from airport to airport, to bus to bus, etc.
This means that you have to be smart and only take what you are going to have to actually need and/or be willing lose as well, as you could lose it or have to destroyed, which is just a basic concept that may occur when you do explore abroad. Hence, I didn't have my tripod when attempting to take long exposure photos, which does in fact make life a tad difficult. This is the fun part of being creative and imaginative when attempting long exposure photos, as the camera needs to be completely still or it will quite easily become very blurry, which is not what I was wanting. So, what do you do?
You do your best to find any kind of surface that will make a good replacement for a tripod. Hence, this different angle as I used the corner or a grate and the ground the prop my camera up in an attempt to catch this shot. All things considering I think it turned out not too badly - at least a lot better than what I was expecting.
