I couldn't help but notice the spread as of 4:20pm EST Saturday ranging a whopping approx. 14.4% bid to bid and 18.% ask to ask or 18.235% between Bittrex bid and Poloniex ask.
The caveat is trading and transferring in a coin that's extremely volatile. ZCASH is a perfect example of why not invest in a coin during the first 60-90 days of market trading:
6 hour chart:
If I'm able to obtain a coin as respectable as ZCASH at the ground floor and I mean ground floor(pre market release for certain) then I'm in and out when the market opens.
I probably will be stupid enough to try a little arbitrage trading buy I highly suggest not doing it unless you are an experienced trader already.
Mining ZCASH is a win if the hardware and electricity costs are in line but investing directly in ZCASH prior to the dust settling is an extremely risky move. That being said, I think ZCASH is going to be a very very interesting platform and will eventually become a long position for me.
