I absolutely agree. When I first found Steemit I was blown away cos it implemented a system I'd thought was inevitable for some time (having been a 'power user'/admin on various major SM platforms) which was rewarding people for OC and for sharing it.

But the harassment of Hive account@haejin shows the limitations of awarding power to users simply on how much they're willing to spend - he and his commenters are being harassed by people who contribute nothing to Steemit and have only bought a lot of STEEM/Voting Power.
