I am not 100% sure that I understand the quote correctly, the way the author intended for me to understand it, but what I get from it, is to be content with what you have. Why is that? If you understand that one slice of bread is enough, then that is enough, and you will always have enough, because you see that what you have is enough. It is about seeing life from a different angle, in which you do not always look at everything else that you do not have, but instead, you look at what you have and you can see that it is enough.

In a world where we always compare ourselves with our surroundings and with others, it is liberty in stopping with that, and just look at what you have and to be content and happy with that. It makes life more pleasant and you will not stress and always see what you lack and what you don't have.
What do you get from today's quote? Does Lao Tzu tell you something different?
He who knows that enough is enough will always have enough. (Lao Tzu)
