A popular radio broadcaster in south western region of Nigeria, Abiodun Fabunmi is dead some hours ago.
Freelance and Independent Broadcasters' Association of Nigeria (FIBAN) Ondo State chapter through its secretary Akeem Odedina, confirmed his death. Odedina added that, Fabunmi died after a brief illness.
Olafioye Omotuyi, Ondo State FIBAN vice chairman described Biodun Fabunmi as an icon, easy going, an administrator who his lifestyle is worthy of emulation. He added that his death is warning to everyone to be doing good because no one knows who next or the time one will gone.
All our efforts to reach his family members prove abortive as no one was able to pick their phones.
Fabunmi who anchor Yoruba speaking progommes in more than ten radio stations in south west Nigeria gave the ghost after three days sickness. His programmes on air includes, Labe-Orun, Eleti-Ofe, among others. He died at the age of 51 years and survived by children and wife.
