I am a mechanical design engineer for additive manufacturing (3D printing). I mainly focus on the lightweight design of engineering products.
I will briefly describe my research.
Due to the reinforced environmental regulation, automotive industry has recently focused on developing a lightweight design, thereby improving fuel efficiency and reducing emissions. The lightweight design can be effectively and efficiently determined by mimicking a bone structure which has the maximum mechanical efficiency with the minimum mass. It is interesting to note that a metallic microlattice, which is inspired by a bone micro structure, was recently introduced as a ultralight structure.
My research aims at a lightweight design for industrial components by reflecting the structural characteristics of bones. For the purpose, topology optimization is conducted in order to generate a porous, fine structure under the given loading conditions. With the aid of state-of-the-arts additive manufacturing, this research can contribute to various fields such as automotive, railway, and aerospace as a fundamental research for lightweight designs.
Please keep an eye on my blog in the future.
Based on my knowledge, I will write about the technical things.
Moreover, I plan to write about the investment things. Because I am interested in investment.
I am currently investing in stocks.
Stock investment is important to understand industry analysis and global economic trends.
The two connections seem small, but eventually they are connected. A block chain is a representative technology in which technology and money are directly connected.
I will write about these things.
Thanks for reading. See you again!
