I got to the restroom of this dilapidated building to ease myself after a long trek looking for what to photograph. On looking up, guess what I saw! A bird's nest with some tiny noise coming from it. Just then, the mother bird came in and flew away after few moment. Thankfully I had my camera with me.
Focusing on the nest and waiting hand holding the camera yielded the above shot when the mother bird came back. I didn't have my tripod with me. Unfortunately, some children came around the place making a hell of noise. That puts paid to my getting further shots. And the next time I visited the place, all I saw were pieces of broken nest on the floor and two dead baby birds. Tear welled up in my eyes. There was nothing I could do. It was over. An effort that took so long brought to an abrupt end by wicked humans.
