Until now I only had pictures of the white tailed eagle flying but no picture where it is sitting somewhere. On my last trip to the Inn River I was lucky to find the white tailed eagle sitting on top of a tree on the other side of the river. With my spotting scope I could see it a little closer but still it was simply too far away. I tried to crop the Image but the Quality is very bad with such a big crop, but at least you can recognize it is indeed a white tailed eagle sitting there on the treetop. Since Eagles often return to the same trees for hunting, I marked the tree on a map so I can find it again.
