Hello, and welcome to my Dtube channel!
This is my first bird feeder video. I decided to try this today to see what I could get on video. I just set the camera up on the tripod and pointed it at the bird feeder, and let it run in video mode. I can normally get about 20 minutes or so of video footage, but the batteries died at about 5 and a half minutes.
I took the footage that I did get and edited it a bit to shorten it. I basically just removed the sections where there were no birds at the feeder. I was hoping to catch the male cardinal that's been coming to the feeder, and I did manage to get hem in the footage toward the end of the video. You can catch him coming into the video at about 3 minutes and 15 seconds. He sits in the tree on the upper right side of the screen for a bit and then flies into the center briefly before flying off again. Most of the other birds are chickadees.
The picture quality of this video isn't all that good because I was using the zoom in video mode, and there wasn't enough light to get a good picture. Howerver, you can still see the birds. I'm hoping to get better video of the birds in the near future. I'm going to try this with the go pro as soon as I get the tripod mount that I ordered.
Thanks for stopping by my channel to check out my video, eh! I hope you enjoy it.
