The colorful bird the Keel-billed toucan has a black body and yellow face and throat with the green skin around eyes. Tip of a tail is red and feet are blue-colored. The keel billed toucan's bill can be a mixture of green, red, yellow and orange in color. The green color of the keel-billed bill is green than anything else.
Belize’s national bird, The Keel-billed toucan is a very social bird. They often are seen in a folks of 6 or members. Basically the Keel-billed toucan do not build a nest. They use tree holes as their nest. In the breeding season they lay 4 to 6 eggs and both male and female take care of it. The toucan is an omnivore. They take mostly fruit and berries for their diet. But they can eat Eggs, insects, lizards and frogs are occasionally on their menu if fruits or berries are not available that place. The colorful bird is considered as the National bird symbol of Belize.
