Last evening I had to visit my friend who lives in a society which is half an hour away from my place by car, but there is a short cut which connects our societies and it's only a walking path, no vehicles can go there. I decided to take that path as I always find it very enjoyable due to the blooming flora and fauna of the place. Thank god I did that because on the way I had some very joyful encounters with Peacocks. There was not one but couple of them and they were freely moving around. It is a forest area and there are variety of birds found here but peacock is one of my favorites.

Early mornings they even come down to my society once in a while and I get to see them. But so many together is a delight to watch. I was only wishing if they could spread out their wings and dance, they did not :-( I waited for quite some time but they did not and then I had to leave. It's monsoon time so they come out more often, it is their favorite season also.
