The Eurasian tree sparrow (Passer montanus)
Pay attention to the Latin (scientific) name. Montanus - means mountain, but also means wild.
This is a wild species of sparrows, they live on the outskirts of cities, in villages. It is very similar to the house sparrow which pretty common to us, but nevertheless there are differences in their plumage. The tree sparrow has a brown cap on his head and black spots on white cheeks.
In the photo, a young sparrow, met on the outskirts of the city near the riverbank. There they fly in large flocks through the fields and look for food on plowed land.
