The common chaffinch (Fringilla coelebs)
Yesterday I went to the forest and met some birds who returned from wintering. Among them were these spring birds. Yes, in some regions these birds even winter, but in Siberia they appear in early spring. And the whole forest is filled with their beautiful catchy song, which can be voiced with words like: " ... it so weird!".
And I was lucky to see the arrival itself. They were silent and in a flock of 5-6 birds. And this means that they have just flown in, right before my eyes. And after the joint arrival, they are already divided, and one by one they begin to search and occupy territories and sing songs.
And after a few days the females arrive. By the way, the photo below is just a female.
