Hace algunos días estuve de cumpleaños y no había tenido tiempo de contárselos a todos ustedes. El día 08 de julio desperté mas temprano de lo normal con la visita a mi habitación de mis padres para felicitarme por cumplir años, se que suena muy cursi pero es una de las cosas mas dulces que pasan una vez a la año.
A few days ago I had a birthday and I hadn't had time to tell you all about it. On the 8th of July I woke up earlier than usual with a visit to my room from my parents to congratulate me on my birthday, I know it sounds corny but it is one of the sweetest things that happen once a year.
Después de realizar mi aseo personal
Luego de realizar mi aseo personal me fui a la cocina donde mi mama me preparó un desayuno de cumpleaños, unas arepas de corazón con huevos fritos y salchichas. Aunque para algunos es normal tomar este desayuno, para era hecho con el corazón delicado de mi mama y por eso sabia delicioso.

After my personal hygiene I went to the kitchen where my mother prepared a birthday breakfast for me, some arepas de corazón with fried eggs and sausages. Although for some people it is normal to have this breakfast, for me it was made with my mum's delicate heart and that's why it tasted delicious.

Luego tuve que ir a la iglesia para un compartir, no tome fotos porque me dió miedo llevarme el teléfono, pero fue muy grato ver a mis hermanos en la fe el día de mi cumpleaños. De regreso a casa ya eran las 12 y estaba listo el almuerzo. Mi tia Merlin vino desde el otro lado de la ciudad solamente a prepararme de su sabrosa comida por mi cumpleaños.
Then I had to go to church for a sharing, I didn't take pictures because I was afraid to take my phone with me, but it was great to see my brothers and sisters in faith on my birthday. Back home it was already 12 o'clock and lunch was ready. My aunt Merlin came all the way from across town just to make me some of her tasty food for my birthday.
Almuerzo - Lunch
Estuve descansando hasta las 5 pm, y luego me aliste para salir con un amigo que ya había sugerido que quería llevarme a comer pizza por mi cumpleaños, tarde poquito en alistarme y salimos a las 5:30 pm. Llegamos al lugar aproximadamente 45 minutos en entregarnos la pizza, tenia tiempo sin comer en la calle lo admito jajaja.
I was resting until 5 pm, and then I got ready to go out with a friend who had already suggested that he wanted to take me to eat pizza for my birthday, it took me a little while to get ready and we left at 5:30 pm. We arrived at the place about 45 minutes to deliver the pizza, I had a long time without eating in the street I admit it hahaha.

Luego de terminar de comer, nos fuimos caminando hasta llegar a casa, donde estaban mis familiares y pocos amigos con las torta de cumpleaños. Nunca he sido el tipo de personas a las que les gustan las fiestas grandes y discotecas, me gusta compartir con gente genuina y sin mucho ruido jajaja. Asistieron pocas personas, la mayoría eran mis familiares y dos amigos cercanos, aun asi me encanto el detalle que tuvieron mis padres y mi amigo al invitarme a comer. Hicieron de este día, un cumpleaños muy especial e inocente.
After we finished eating, we walked home, where my family and a few friends were with the birthday cake. I've never been the kind of person who likes big parties and discos, I like to share with genuine people and without much noise hahaha. Few people attended, most of them were my relatives and two close friends, even so I loved the detail that my parents and my friend had in inviting me to eat. They made this day a very special and innocent birthday.

Todo fue muy bonito y la torta quedo muy sabrosa, ese dia la habia hecho mi mama. Antes de cantar cumpleaños me tome algunas fotos con mi familia, les las estaré dejando.
Everything was very nice and the cake was very tasty, my mum had made it that day. Before singing birthday I took some pictures with my family, I will be leaving them for you.

A pesar de todos los alto y bajos de este año, le doy gracias a Dios por haberme regalado una familia maravillosa y llena de amor que me demostraron ese día, le doy las gracias a Dios tambien por los amigos que son casi familia, se ganaron un lugar en mi corazón, y también le doy gracias a Dios por los que no pudieron estar, porque se que en algun momento podremos compartir.
Despite all the ups and downs of this year, I thank God for having given me a wonderful family full of love that they showed me that day, I thank God also for the friends who are almost family, they earned a place in my heart, and I also thank God for those who could not be there, because I know that at some point we will be able to share.
Gracias a hive por brindarme apoyo y a todos los miembros de la comunidad de hive, gracias a los valientes que no dejan de luchar porque nuestro pais sea uno que brille en medio de escombros. Se que en algún momento Venezuela me regalará la dicha de tener a mi hijo estudiando en la misma escuela a la que fui y comiendo en los mismos puestos de empanadas que disfrute por mucho tiempo, se que volverá a nacer Venezuela de las cenizas como el ave Fénix.
Thanks to hive for giving me support and to all the members of the hive community, thanks to the brave ones who never stop fighting for our country to be one that shines in the midst of rubble. I know that at some point Venezuela will give me the joy of having my son studying in the same school I went to and eating at the same empanada stands that I enjoyed for a long time, I know that Venezuela will rise again from the ashes like the phoenix.
