A new year, adding another number behind my age. Usually I would spend with my family, this year happened to be so different; with my not romantic at all - husband 😅. Forget about present, surprise, or even some sweet words.
My family do not celebrate as well. We just make the day of our birthday as a way for gathering, as we barely could met. Even in the past, my mom would cook some noodles in each of birthday, even though the birthday son/daughter was not in the same place as her 😂

Tonight we got home without knowing that my sis in-law already bought a cake and put it on the fridge. Before they got home, I accidentally saw some note on the door of the fridge. Surprise? did not see its coming. So we decided to pretend; we don't know anything about the cake.
And it works.
They wanted to make a surprise, we pretend not to know until one of them explicitly mentioned about it😁 . They were disappointed that were not surprise as they plan.

I just feel sorry to the little sis, and told her that actually we knew about the cake, even though just half an hour ago. She started throwing everything toward my husband, she was really mad that at the end it seems like a prank for her 😂 .
