Recently, I read that âs #beachwednesday has gone on for 7 months. This was the post I read:
Seven Months of the Beach Wednesday Community

Many people have since gone or posted about their trip to the beach. God knows how many and #steemsql knows too many thanks to .
So, # whysocurious me goes extracting data of people who posted with #beachwednesday tag. I exported the results into an Excel file and loaded it to Power BI. I just wanted a snapshot of the data to work with so I didnât make Power BI query #steemsql database directly.
Not surprise that there were many people who have posted. I decided to focus those who have posted more than 12 times and here are who you can ask to take you to the beach next time.
So, #whososerious, letâs go to the beach, right?
Looking the chart, June to August has the most number of posts. So, less people are thinking of the beach after August. I kind of think that is because summer for the northern hemisphere is coming to a close. So, Steemians from the down under like Australia and and Newland. You have critical mission: Save #BeachWednesday
Otherwise, I think the trend for next few months means least posts for #BeachWednesday until spring time for northern hemisphere again.
The total payout for all posts peaked in June whereas the number of posts peak in August. This would mean very likely after June, the average payout per post is lesser.
There you have it. # whysocurious is happy to look at the data and check out who went to the beach.
If you are interested in "touching" the Power BI report yourself, you can go to this link:

Note: Donât worry. You won't break the report but I canât guarantee it will be there forever.
If you do go play with the report, a few things you can try are:
- Click on the header of the matrix table to see the data sort differently.
- Click on an author in the matrix table and see how the chart change to present for that author.
