Big players (whales) Bitcoin comes back into the market. Is the price of Bitcoin ready to skyrocket again? According to a Glassnode study, the number of Bitcoin addresses of more than 10,000 BTC rose to 111 on Wednesday (April 29, 2020). That is the highest level since August 2, 2019. Thus the increase has been 11 percent since the beginning of March 2020.
"The increase in the number of Bitcoin addresses with balances of more than 10,000 BTC is likely the result of long-term holders returning to the market to expand their ownership," said Matthew Dibb, founder of Stack.
