We'll see how things go with this correction soon. This seems to be the year that regulation puts a damper on the freewheeling crypto universe. It appears the monkey wrench is going to be put to use as evidenced by South Carolina recently tossing a cease and desist at Genesis Mining. Of all places to apply a C & D.. Genesis Mining? There are much worse players out there than Genesis. Granted cloud mining outfits typically misrepresent the returns people will make, but they are at least paying people unlike some other outfits. Maybe some of these state AGs just want to make a name for themselves, or maybe people file complaints because -they- aren't invested and hear their friends report that they are making money. I don't know.. but asking for regulation is a double edged sword. It would be nice if toxic or fraudulent behavior could be controlled without an authority to regulate.. It would be nice..
