I can't help but have a big smile on my face, and not for the reason you're thinking.
Sure, bitcoin has jumped out of its doldrums, which is just fine and dandy. But what I'm really ecstatic about is that I personally proved the recent spade of cryptocurrency conspiracy theorists wrong!
I produced a video two days ago, and I wanted to upload it yesterday, before this past morning's Senate hearing on bitcoin, cryptocurrency assets, and the blockchain technology.
Of course, as I was in the middle of uploading to DTube, the Steemit network suffered technical issues.

The Senate Essentially Proved the U.S. Government is NOT Going to Ban Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency Assets!!
In the DTube video, which I'll share now that the Steemit network is back up, I clearly stated that the U.S. government is not interested in banning bitcoin...why would they?
They don't care about bitcoin, or litecoin, or sh*tcoin! All they care about -- and this is VERY important -- is getting their piece of the pie!
So long as you pay your taxes, Uncle Sam is not going to throw you in jail.
To the morons who panicked out of the markets because of conspiracy theories that you concocted and likely shared to your friends, I have this very simple message:
You got played by bankers, fool!
To the rest of us, who kept the faith and HODL'd, and most importantly, didn't share the FUD...
