After a lot of time spent planning for this event, it is finally here! We've collaborated with Bitcoin.com to create an event to spread awareness of the emerging industry of cryptocurrencies and blockchain. After so much hype and mania due to cryptocurrencies being seen as a get rich quick scheme, it is time to utilize the primary use case, peer-to-peer cash.
So..... that's exactly what we'll be doing Friday night at Social. When you walk in the door to Social on Friday night you will be prompted to download a wallet on your smartphone. Then we will AIRDROP Bitcoin Cash to you, for free. It will almost instantly appear in your wallet and the transaction fee is less than a cent. This is your means of tipping the bartender when you get a drink. All you have to do is scan a QR code at the bar, and the Bitcoin Cash is sent in seconds.
