This is a screen capture of what coinmarketcap.com looked like back in June 2016. Take a good hard look.
A $1k investment in BTC would be $7k by now.
A $1k investment in ETH would be $23.5k by now.
A $1k investment in LTC would be $10.5k by now.
And so on. Imagine if you invested in XMR back then :o
I'm just relatively new to cryptocurrency so this really puts things into perspective. In the Philippines, one of the most popular ways to exchange bitcoin is through coins.ph - but the fees when transferring to another wallet are ridiculous, so as of now I only have bitcoin in my portfolio (and STEEM, but I don't think I'm powering down anytime soon).
For all the investors out there, what does your investment portfolio look like? What do you think the market will look like 1 year from now? Let me know in the comments below.
This article is a bit more of a historical trivia. I have a few articles about travel and food as well, but most of the time, I post self-development articles:
- 3 Small and Quick Changes in my Life that Boosted my Productivity (2 min. read + video)
- 6 Ways to Build Trust (3 min. read)
- Improve your listening skills (4 min. read)
- etc...
So friends, make sure to check out my blog if you want to read more. :)
