A formal court ruling in China finds the acceptance and or transfer of Bitcoin does not violate Chinese law. Last years' report of a complete ban in China was either inaccurate or an overreaction by government officials. Either way, the Chinese government is now on record, through their judicial system, confirming that the use of Bitcoin is legal in China. Another government has formally recognized Bitcoin as a medium of value. It can only help to promote wider adoption of cryptocurrency as a medium of exchange. What a difference a year makes.
