It was a good read, but most likely it won't happen because:

1. Bitcoin won't work as money (only 3 tx/sec)
2. There are many others coins with better tech and IPOs, so the pie is splitting
3. Every N years a new technology appears (for IT the N ~ 10 years, so bitcoin is almost done)

But I really appreciate Bitcoin as the first working crypto!
