I'm trying to do my due dilligence with Bitcoin and any impact that the upcoming hardfork might have on the price, but I can't find anything concrete on what's happening.
As far as I know there’s a hardfork in bitcoin that will take effect on the 1st of August and being a noob, I’m not sure how much uncertainty this will create around Bitcoin and what effect it will have on the price.
Now, I’m thinking that if the price of bitcoin will be influenced by the hardfork, I need to move my money from Bitcoin into another coin.
My dilemma is that i'm not sure which coins would benefit from a Bitcoin price drop. I’m thinking that I might move into Dash or Litecoin and then wait to see what happens to Bitcoin in August.
Can anyone confirm if the hardfork will go ahead on the 1st of August?
If it does, any thoughts on the price implications and possible coins that could benefit?
