For the last hour Poloniex is not working. Here's the latest announcement on company's Twitter account:

It's a bit weird to trade without connectivity, in the first place, but maybe Poloniex knows how to do it. Who knows?

Of course, irony was quick to appear, and a few users already felt the need to compare the announcement with the one posted by BTC-E a week ago, hours before FBI announced they seized their domain:
