According to an interview on Bloomberg Morgan Stanley "has been clearing Bitcoin futures contracts for big institutional clients".
Chief Financial Office of Morgan Stanley added that "[Morgan Stanley] convenes a regular meeting of executives to consider how else to engage with cryptocurrencies".
To put a little more context around this story, just a few days ago, the first Bitcoin futures contracts launched by CBoE matured, marking a significant milestone of the cryptocurrency in mainstream financial trading.
My 2 cents: the more we're going to see actors from Wall Street joining the game, the more FUD will be spread. Just think for a while: why all the news scandal with "regulation" and "clamping down on crypto", if Wall Street keeps launching products and strategies for their clients? Who benefits from that?
