According to news reports published by bitcoin.com, the Indian Finance minister Mr. Arun Jaitley met with several top ministers, parliamentarian and officials of NITI Ayug (former Planning Commission of India), IT Ministry, Home ministry and Finance ministry and several other stakeholders in a private meeting to discuss about the pros and cons of regulating Bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies in India. According to to media reports, #Bitcoin regulation is mostly favorable among Indian bureaucrats even though some of them are skeptical.
