I just checked my bittrex account and found out that i have been credited bitcoin cash. Woo Hoo...
But as i only have 7 satoshi (dust) in my bitcoin wallet i only recieved 7 satoshi bitcoin cash.
The thing is everyone was saying to get your bitcoin off the exchanges and put them in a personal wallet that you controlled the private keys. As it was uncertain what would happen to the bitcoin blockchain.
Instead i bought steem as it was only 90 pence at that moment. I believe this is a good long term investment.
But if i had left it in bitcoin form , i would have had lots of bitcoin cash. Which at the time is going up like crazy as people dont want to miss out. FOMA.
There is always good and better decisions to be made i just needed to be better informed. It is really difficult to know who to believe and trust if u dont know how things will turn out.
At least i didnt loose any money.
Once people realise that bitcoin cash is just another altcoin and they have made a profit, it will get dumped just as quick back down to a reasonable level.
On a positive note as i have a bittrex account and a holder of 7 satoshi, I was credited with some free stellar lumens (XLM). Think i will keep these for the long term as this coin has lots of potential.
So its not all bad.
