For that reason I believe we should strive for independence of the BitCoin Empire's Zone of Influence.

My main reasons to believe such a thing:

• The PoW algorithm wastes too much energy with useless work, driving pollution up just by mining competition.
• Transaction fees are very high, making it an nonviable way to transact money digitally as it was originally intended.
• Too much time to validate transactions as it takes several minutes for a couple blocks to be found after it.
• Too many scams using its name to steal money from outsiders by showing headlines about people who got rich 7-10 years ago by forgetting some change in it. Every time my country's Federal Police arrests Ponzi scammers using BitCoin's name, I have to give explanations to tech-illiterate people that it was not "The BitCoin Company" being arrested as there is no such thing as The BitCoin Company.

To summarize, in technology terms, BitCoin is the real ShitCoin, even though it had it's attempts to fix issues with the algorithm itself(like BitCoin Cash and BitCoin Gold). For that reason I believe Hive should be sold to newcomers as its own thing instead of a shadow of an overvalued yet technologically inferior blockchain.

We have our own issues, but we can solve them. I believe in HIVE blockchain and more people should also.
