Wikileaks founder, Julian Assange, believes that Bitcoin will bring about the next big economic revolution. The whistleblower-cum-publisher commended the digital currency on Twitter, comparing it to the "Occupy Wall Street" movement which raised alarm against the rising economic inequality globally.
A few hours before this tweet, Assange announced on Twitter that WikiLeaks now accepts donations via Bitcoin SegWit. But, Assange's claims met opposition from many others including David Graeber the unofficial leader of the "Occupy" movement.
Bitcoin astounding growth (~1850%) throughout 2017 has forced many experts (including self-proclaimed ones) to compare the currency with an asset bubble.
