Yeah I am new to Steemit and I notice there are a lot of bots? commenting to send small funds to receive up-votes and resteems to huge followers. How long has this been happening? I wonder what the ratios are of people genuinely conversing as opposed to the get rich quickers with bots and just spam up-voting and resteeming.

I still don't quite get how the steem economy works yet.
